I studied at Hotel Management School Maastricht and moved to London for an internship at a hotel. It was an exciting opportunity, but moving to another country also meant figuring out everything myself—from finding a place to live to understanding all the practical arrangements that come with starting somewhere new. At the time, I would have loved to have a local person by my side: someone who knew the city, understood the process and could guide me through the things I didn’t know yet. Someone who could make the move feel less stressful, so I could focus my energy on the adventure ahead. That experience inspired Locally Landed.
